Pea & Ricotta Tartine
A tartine is an elegantly topped, open-faced French sandwich.
Ingredients
4 slices bread, your choice, cut from a round loaf
2 cups peas
1⁄2 cup ricotta
1 tbsp3 Onion Dip MixorToasted Onion
Pesto Sauce, prepared, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
- Place bread on a crisper. Toast for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- With a fork, mash peas, ricotta, and seasoning into a chunky blend.
- To assemble, spread pea mixture on toasts. Drizzle with Pesto Sauce and a sprinkle of pepper.
