1 can (19 oz/540 ml) chickpeas
1⁄4 cup water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
- Drain and rinse chickpeas.
- Place chickpeas, seasoning, water, oil, and lemon juice in a food processor. Blend until smooth, about 2–3 min, scraping down sides as necessary.

For a lighter, fluffier hummus, substitute 2 tbsp of water with 2 small, rectangular ice cubes.
